2012 (MOVIE REVIEW) Several years before, geologist Adrian Helmsley comes across information that shows the

world will come to an end in 2012. No announcement is made but the G8 countries begin to prepare for the event. Geophysicist Adrian Helmsley officially visits India's Dr. Satnam Tsurutani, his pretty wife, Aparna, and their son. From thence, he is led to the world's deepest copper mine, where he finds evidence that the Earth's crust is heating up faster than expected. He quickly collects evidence, and presents it before the President of the United States. He warns U.S. President Thomas Wilson that the crust of the earth is becoming unstable and that without proper preparations for saving a fraction of the world's population, the entire race is doomed. Meanwhile Jack Curtis is a divorced and a less than successful writer. While on a camping trip with his children in Yosemite, he meets Charlie Frost, who is preaching that the end of the world is at hand. Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes of unprecedented strength wreak havoc around the world. A series of events leads Curtis to believe what Frost has told him and with his family, heads for China where the industrialized countries have been working on a response to the impending disaster. The family Curtis saved from the catastrophic event with the American government that safely transfer from a big ship. INSIGHT: The film main point is that the family is the ultimately most important thing in life. Several characters risk their lives or well being for family members and one is try to contact to his family but it is too late. Few characters look beyond family to try to rescue total strangers. Characters experienced many disasters that test their unity in surviving it. Many lives and properties have been damaged and gone. Millions of it destroyed because of earth quakes, volcanic eruption and tsunami. But the focus of its events is to protect the earth from having this catastrophic event that may come because of human activity. Many people are destroying the environment that helps us in our daily life. An environment that we should protect and we are responsible for taking care of it. We had only one environment, earth, or nature what matter we called it it is the only one can give us water, air, and enough needs in life.
