The Growing Nation Journal Project. You will create journal entries from several groups of people that were impacted by the growth of the United States. You must choose four groups and create a two-paragraph journal from the perspective of a person in that group. The groups of people you can choose from are: Native Americans, women, gold seekers, pioneers, Mexicans, Texans, New Yorkers, and slaves. More information on the format of this project and how it will be graded will be given later during the unit. *Indicates mandatory assignments.
