All Communication Majors complete the Core Courses.

Communication Majors choose one area of specialization for the Communication major. At least 50% of the major must be completed at Queens. Must complete a minimum of 36 hours (12 three hour courses) at the 300-400 level. Courses can be from major, degree requirements or electives. Transfer students: 4 yr institutions - must satisfy the residency requirement and take at least 45 hours at Queens. Transfer students: 2 year institutions - must take a minimum of 56 hours (NC) or 60 hours (all other states) 2nd Degree Candidates (Bachelors) Must complete all coursework for major and at least 30 hours at Queens. : (50% of major courses have to be completed at Queens.). GPA of at least 2.00 in all courses at Queens, and in all major courses, is required to graduate.
