    John F. Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States who allied with the Soviet Union during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 to prevent nuclear war. As president, Kennedy worked to resolve the crisis through diplomacy rather than military action by sending planes to check for missiles in Cuba and negotiating with Soviet boats approaching the island. Unfortunately, Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald.

    John Fitzgerald Kennedy

    John F. Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States. As he was president he allied with the Soviet Union in1962. He worked with many people in the union. President Kennedy joined the union because of the Cuban missile crisis in 92 that started with Fidel Castros leadership in Cuba. During the missile crisis he sent planes to see if they were still shooting the missiles at the cities that were targeted. The Soviet Union boats were going to Cuba instead. John F. Kennedy went to Cuba because he did not want anymore wars to happen so he sent many people to stop it. On November 25th 1963, he was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald whom was his alleged assassinator. He was assassinated in his convertible, presidential limousine. He was killed by a sniper, and people were so shocked. At his funeral JFK Jr. saluted to his fathers casket as it was on its way to the national cemetery.
