1. Sin Rendered Us Dead (v1) The wages of sin is death Romans 6:23 The day you eat of the fruit, you will surely die Genesis 2:17 2. We Walked in Sin, It is an Active and Willful Death (v1) II. But God... (v4-7) 1. Rich in Mercy (v4) 2. Because of His Great Love for Us (v4) 3. While We Were Dead (v5) 4. God Made Us Alive with Jesus (v5) 5. God Seated Us with Jesus on a Heavenly Throne (v6) 6. God Has Good Stuff in Store for Us through Jesus (v7) III. How Did This Saving Thing Happen?!? (v8-10) 1. By Grace (v8) 2. Through Faith, which isnt something you started, it is a gift (v8) 3. Not by anything we did (v9) 4. We do good AFTER (not before) we are saved (v10)
