This Union Believes 1) That some of the images described in TUN 3 are tantamount to pornography. 2) That images described in TUN 3 objectify people. 3) That a variety of people described in TUN 2, not just female and religious students are offended by the images and magazines described by TUN 3 and think they have no place in today s society. 4) That a policy such as TUN 4 would not prevent people buying the magazines described in TUR 3, nor would it significantly affect their sales. This Union Resolves 1) To add to Policy 12 ...particularly female and religious students. This Union Advises UNU Services. Ltd to cover the front covers of those magazines which present overtly sexual and objectifying images and to stock them on the top shelf. 2) The LGBT Officer and Women s Officer shall be mandated to consult with the relevant staff members to ensure that TUR 1 is implemented.
