The

FOCUS presents a workshop for military children (Ages 6-10)

Program

"Deployment Club"
We invite your child to join us for a 4 week series... Participants will use arts & crafts to: *Learn tools to identify and express feelings in appropriate ways. *Develop strategies for thinking before acting. *Practice how to get along with other family members. *Meet other children with deployment experiences. *Take home his/her own hand-crafted toolbox of skills!

Deployments affect both the service member and the family as routines and roles are disrupted. Children may experience challenges before, during and after a parents deployment.
