    The drilling crew encountered well control issues after losing returns while drilling at 18,260 feet measured depth. They evaluated gas readings from pumps and observed an increase in mud weight as the drill pipe was pulled out of the hole. When the heavier mud reached 15,000 feet, no returns were observed. The crew pumped light cement to regain returns, but saw no change. The wellsite geologist provided this update at 5am and noted they would provide another update later.
