Social values, needs and world of opportunities are the three sound factors which should be considered while adopting the profession.

In Pakistani society there are number of professions that were considered merely suitable for Pakistani women to choose.

o For example, Air hostess, Nutritionist, Accountant, Doctors, Engineers, Medical Representatives, Public Relation Officer,

Pharmacist etc. But now the scenario has changed. There is no logical distinction between a male and female with respect to a profession. Professions that were once taken as core male oriented, are now being adopted by females in Pakistani society. Today, we are not surprised to see Female Pilots, Defense Female Officers.

EMPLOYMENT
Flight attendants held about 98,700 jobs in 2008 worldwide. Commercial airlines employed the vast majority of flight attendants, and most attendants lived near major metropolitan airports or airports operating as hubs for the major airlines. A small number of flight attendants worked for companies that offered chartered flights.

EARNINGS
According to statistics, Median annual wages of flight attendants were $35,930 in May 2008.

The middle 50 percent earned between $28,420 and $49,910. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $20,580, and

The highest 10 percent earned more than $65,350. While annual wages of flight attendants in Pakistan operated Airlines are about Rs. 250,000/-. This is pretty lower as compared to internationally operated airlines.
