Current issue on Abortion in Trinidad

Innocent human lives are being taken away each day and men and women are hurting from the consequences of abortion. It is estimated that on this small island with a population of 1.2 million that close to 20,000 abortions are carried out each year. This figure indicates that over 55.5 babies are being aborted each day. With this in mind, we see the great need for more crisis pregnancy centers. At present, abortion is illegal in Trinidad but there is a group that is lobbing to have abortion legalized so that it will be even more easily accessible.
