To complete your installation, licensing is required.

To license Solid Edge:

For a floating license (a license administered by a dongle-equipped license server on a network), save the license file used by your license server to the Solid Edge ST4\Program folder. For a node-locked license (a standalone license), obtain a license file from the License Management web site. Click here to visit the License Management web site. Please have your WebKey username and password available.

For an academic license, obtain your 12-character license code from the inside of your DVD cover. Then: o Click Start All Programs Solid Edge ST4 Licensing License Utility o On the Solid Edge License Utility dialog box, click License Keys. o On the Solid Edge License Utility - License Key Entry dialog box, in the Solid Edge Academic field, type your 12 character license code and click OK. For an evaluation license, contact your local Siemens PLM Software Channel Partner.
