How did you attract/address your audience?

I used a mixture of dull and bright colours, such as; purple, blue, green, red, yellow and grey, purple, blue, green, red, grey, to attract my audience to my magazine. The model on the front cover gave a mysterious look to help interest the audience and make them wonder what it is about. The cover lines border the image to help make it stand out even more. This again attracts the audience. The quote near the bottom of the page helps involve the audience directly. It makes them feel like part of the conversation. The welcome note at the top of the page addresses the readers directly. It helps gain their attention and wonder what is different about this magazine from others of a similar or same genre.

The use of the colours white, blue, yellow, red white, blue, yellow, and green help separate each section of the contents. This helps attract the audience to the sections as they stand out on the page. The image at the bottom of the page could also attract the attention of the audience. The artist is looking directly at the camera. It seems as if he is trying to tell the audience something Check this page out!. out!. The editorial on the right-hand side of the rightimage directly addresses the readers as it explains to them what the magazine is about and what can be found in it. The subscribe box on the other side of the image stands out as the font is big, bold and colourful.

The colour scheme continues on this page too. The stand-first is in blue, which helps it stand out to the standblue, audience and makes them read on. The interview is set out in prose. This means the audience reads exactly what to artist has said. It helps involve them and address them at all times. The purple tag in the top-right hand corner of the page tells the audience that it is an exclusive toparticle. It attracts the readers and makes them want to read on. The drop capital attracts the audiences attention and makes them read the article. The image takes up a whole page and catches the audiences eye. It makes them want to know more about the artist in the image; who he is, what he does, etc.
