1) How would you describe Carols leadership traits?

Some of the leadership traits that are observed in Carol are Competent - she is able to make decisions based on the through work of city wise analysis of competitors and market. Forward-looking Set goals and have a vision of the future. Courageous her perseverance to accomplish a goal, regardless of many obstacles. Sociable - she is very sociable speaking to her old and new employees and probing out the latent problems. Intelligence she did not sell the business first, based on her education background she decided to run the business, she made right investments and successfully ran the business. She has a focus which is evident with her expansion strategies. She is highly self motivated.

2) How big a part did Carols traits play in the expansion of the company? Carol after the death of her husband, she made a proper study of the business factors and made decisions which are very rational and took decisions based on them. In fact she expanded the business more than what her husband might have thought of. She increased the number of employees based on the growth of the company; she also increased the sales and expanded the stores to other locations even.

3) Would Carol be a leader in other business contexts? Yes, Carol can be a great leader in other business contexts also. Because though the business is being run till the death of her husband, she studied the business right from the root level, she has a great care for others, she created a very employee friendly environment based on the employees interest, more over she is honest and sincere for her task and work, she is highly moral, and the most important thing is that she has a great positive attitude
