LEONARDO DA VINCIS

INTRODUCTION
In this project I will introduce a famous artist Leonardo da Vincis short biography and a few of his pictures.

 Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452. He was the son of the wealthy Messer Piero Fruosino di

Antonio da Vinci, a legal notary, and Caterina, a peasant.

The father early observed the sons gift and the first order to Leonardo was to decorate the wall of his house.

 In Leonardos youth, the greatest influence on him was made by Andrea del Verokja. Andrea del Verokja was Leonardos teacher. In his workshop Leonardo spent 12 years and got acquainted with the mysteries of art. In 1469 Leonardo moved to Florence with his father.

 By 1472, at the age of twenty, Leonardo qualified as a master in the Guild of St Luke, the guild of artists

and doctors of medicine.

In 1478 Leonardo became an independent master and established

Madonna Litta.
At the age of thirty, Leonardo moved from Florence to Milan.

From the period of Milan these pictures remained : Madonna of the Rocks, Benua Madonna, Lady with an Ermine and the fresco The Last Supper.

THE LAST SUPPER.

 Leonardo was a painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, botanist and writer. He constructed arms, improved canal network, designed building. Leonardo created a new painting style - painted on a black

background. It developed a three-dimensional visual effect.

Leonardo was left-handed and wrote from right to left.

He was the first person who started to construct the mechanism to fly for people.
Leonardo painted with Michelangelo, whose acts of figures inspired Leonardo by studies of acts.

Leonardo was the first person, who did a human autopsy. He wrote approximately 200 papers on peoples body research. In 1512 he moved to Rome, where his selfportrait was created.

The king of France gave Leonardo a beautiful Clu castle. In this castle Leonardo spent the last years of his life.

In 1519 Leonardo da Vinci died.
