    This community partnership initiative promotes active lifestyles and community engagement brings life to the River Tone and its environs

    Project Description
    permanent home Functional, sustainable facility catering for a wide variety of clubs and community groups two key components the facility/building the boat lift (iconic structure allowing river users to travel from one level to another, either side of French Weir)

    Objectives
    provide a community operated facility increase participation in wide ranging outdoor/sporting and community activities provide a feed to affiliated clubs promote sporting excellence encourage active lifestyles fully accessible promote the River Tone an under-used asset add a community dimension to the town centre regeneration
