SIMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A BPSK MODULATOR ON FPGA

ABSTRACT

The BPSK (Binary Phase Shift Keying) is one of the three basic binary modulation techniques. It has as a result only two phases of the carrier, at the same frequency, but separated by 180. The aim of the paper is to generate BPSK modulation which is a popular modulation technique used in communication industry.

EXISTING SYSTEM

Since there is only one bit per symbol, this is also the symbol error rate. Its hardware Implementation only. Hence we cant able to view the Output & working of that circuit using Simulations.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The Circuit have to be verified Manually. The design process & Circuit verification itself takes more time to finish the output. The time taken for output verification process is very high.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
System Generator is a digital signal processing design tool from Xilinx, based on the Simulink environment used for FPGA design. The modulating signal is generated internal by a LFSR (Linear Feedback Shift Register). It illustrates the carrier signal, sinus and sinus, as well as the modulating signal from the LFSR and the modulated signal obtained on the board. The Block can Implemented for Simulation as well as Hardware.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

APPLICATIONS

Future Mobile communication & Wireless Communication Systems. The Simulations results can be viewed using VGA monitors & can be implemented in communication fields Changes can be made & output can be viewed Easily.
