Joe, how about a little demo for me and Gary when I come back with the SportzPage database as a subject? From your email seems like it will work nicely for us

So Ive evaluated this software a bit and I like it. I ran into two issues when testing it with the SportzPage database but neither were very tough to solve. The first one was that it requires you to create any extra files and filegroups before trying to restore a new database. Not a huge deal. And the second issue was that it kept erroring out when attempting to restore a new database with a message complaining about how you cant use a FREETEXT predicate on a table that is not full-text indexed. This was happening because the entire thing runs in a giant transaction and full-text indexing isnt recognized until after that completes. So the fix was to manually remove the Search stored procedure from the script and run it afterward. I guess not a big deal, although it would have been nice if the software could recognize this condition and do it automatically. Anyways This seems to be a pretty good solution for our database source control needs. I really doubt we will have much use for creating databases from it anyways, but it still works if we need to. I like how the whole thing integrates directly with SVN so theres no need to generate scripts and manually commit them. The entire process is pretty painless and you can even set it up to save default data from specified tables like lookups, etc. It seems to cover all bases for what we need. I give it my seal of approval and Im curious to hear what you guys think about it. -Joe
