Row 1 (RS)Kl (edge st), k2tog, k2, *yo, k2, slip 1, k2tog, psso, k2; repeat from * to last 5 sts, yo, k2, slip 1, kl, psso, kl (edge st). Row 2 (WS) Kl (edge st) p4, *yo, p6; repeat from * to last 4 sts, yo, p3, kl (edge st). Repeat Rows 1-2 for Chevron Lace.

28 sts and 32 rows = 4"/10cm in Chevron Lace (unstretched) 22.5 sts and 32 rows = 4"/10cm in Chevron Lace (stretched) Remember to check gauge for best results!
NOTES
The number of stitches varies from one row to the next. Every RS row finishes with one stitch less in each repeat, and every WS row finishes with the correct number of stitches. Gloves are knit flat then seamed up the side, leaving a hole for the thumb. Fabric has a ribbing effect and will stretch.
STITCH PATTERN
Cast on 52 sts. Knit 2 rows, then purl 1 row. Beginning with Row 1, work in Chevron Lace pattern until piece measures 15"/38cm or desired length. Knit 3 rows. Bind off.
FINISHING
With RS facing, fold glove in half widthwise. Beginning at cast-on edge seam the sides together until last 2.5"/6cm. Leaving a 1.5"/4cm thumb hole opening, seam the remaining l"/2.5cm. Weave in ends.
