Michelle Rigterink 3212 Beverly Road Austin, Texas 78702 March 4, 2010 Dear Finance Committee, I am writing to you

in confidence and I have struggled with this note for some time. I did not make application for financial assistance because we will not qualify for assistance based on Annies fathers income. Which is ironic because Annies father doesnt reside in Austin, nor does he help us with any expenses beyond his required court-ordered child support monthly payment. I have been divorced for three years and Annies father will not help me pay for Annies private education. I made the decision to enroll Annie at Hyde Park because of your Christ based curriculum, and the type of families and youth that you attract into your program I went back to school to earn an MBA and I am currently slated to graduate in July 2010. I have been actively seeking a job over the last six months, and to date have not secured employment. I am getting concerned for our future. Annie is flourishing at Hyde Park and I am asking you to please consider helping me with Annies tuition this year. Last year I withdrew funds from my IRA to pay for her tuition, and I now find myself in a different circumstance. My total child support from Annies father is $1750 per month. If you feel we meet your financial criteria I would be able to meet with your further to discuss any details that you may need to help you make your decision. Sincerely, Michelle Rigterink
