WELCOME to the 2012 Netball Season!

The Emmaus Netball Club Committee would like to welcome you all the 2012 Netball Season. 2011 was a season which saw a number of changes and initiatives. One of these included the review of our Constitution and By-Laws. The Committee spent many hours working on these documents which would allow Emmaus Netball Club to continue to grow and evolve in order to provide its members the opportunity of participating in the sport they love in a club that they can be proud of. As part of this growth, the number of positions on the Emmaus Netball Committee has also increased. We have a number of new positions this year, which as the saying goes. Many hands make light work. We are now a team of 12 and we look forward to working with you over the coming season. Kind Regards

The first game will be on Saturday, APRIL 28, 2012 at Jamison Park Netball Courts, Penrith. The season will start with a March Past for all Clubs that play in the Penrith District Netball Association (PDNA). The 2011 March Past was a washout. But, we won in 2010 and we hope to make it back to back wins - so to speak! HOLY SPIRIT COURTS

In the interest of safety for all, we ask that when you are grading or training at Holy Spirit courts that you park either in Todd Row or on the dirt car park across the road in Moore St. The only cars that you will see parked on site belong to the staff of Holy Spirit. For the safety of all, please DO NOT drive into the site when you are dropping off or collecting your child from training, please drop off and collect from in front of the driveway to the courts in Todd Row, as this is the only place to enter. We thank the Holy Spirit Parish once again for allowing us to use the DISABLED TOILET which will be left open for us to use. This is a fantastic advantage and privilege that we have using this site, so we ask that this be kept clean and that the last team training each day, turns the light off and closes the door, pressing the button to lock it behind them on their way out.

GENERAL MEETINGS
The Committee would like to encourage all members to attend our General Meetings. These are held at Holy Spirit Primary School. Important information is discussed at these meetings that will affect your team. So, stay up to date with what is happening within your club. The first meeting will be held in May. Stay tuned for further details. We hope to see you there!!! We would like to thank the Principal of Holy Spirit, Mr Michael Tonnet for allowing us to hold our meetings in such a comfortable space. PLEASE NOTE: From time to time, due to unforeseen circumstances, a meeting may have to be postponed. Please check the Emmaus Website and your emails to note any changes to dates or times.
