Aggie Wranglers Resolution A resolution thanking the Texas A&M University Aggie Wranglers for positively representing Texas A&M University throughout the nation. Whereas(1): The Aggie Wranglers are a student-run, Country and Western exhibition dance group comprised solely of Texas A&M students; and, Whereas(2): Since 1984 Wranglers has grown to be one of Texas A&M University's most recognized student organizations and newest traditions; and, Whereas(3): The Aggie Wranglers have been honored with personal invitations by President George Bush (41) to perform in Washington DC, the opening of the Qatar branch of Texas A&M University in the Middle East, the christening of the USS Texas nuclear submarine in Virginia, the 750th Anniversary of Gravelotte, Germany, the Retailing Hall of Fame in New York City, the Steamboat Springs MusicFest, and Walt Disney World in Orlando; and, Whereas(4): The Aggie Wranglers teach approximately 3,000 students, faculty, staff, and community members to polka, two-step, waltz, and jitterbug each year. Therefore Let it be Resolved(1): That the Texas A&M University Student Senate thanks the TAMU Aggie Wranglers for their positive representation of Texas A&M University throughout both the State of Texas and the Nation.
