    Ribbed Hat (Teacosy Style) Normal Needles 3 strands of DK and 6mm needles Cast on 62 stitches onto normal needles,

    knit in double rib *K1 (K2, P2) K3* for 2.5/ 6cm (this is the brim). Increasing row: make 4 new stitches (66). Continue for 6.5/15cm. Continue for 6.5/15cm. Decreasing For normal needles: Row 1 RS: *K1 (K2, P2tog) K3* Row 2: *K1 (P2, K1)* Row 3: *K1 (K2, P2) K3* Row 4: *K1 (K1, P2tog) K3* Row 5: *K1, P2 (K1, P1) K1* Row 6: *K1 (SSK) K1* (SSK = slip two stitches onto left needle, insert right needle and knit together through the back) Row 7: *K1 (P) K1* Row 8: *K1 (SSK) K1* Row 9: *K1 (P) K1* Row 10: *(K2 tog)* end. Decreasing Row 1: *(K2, P2tog)* Row 2: *(K2, P1)* Row 3: *(K2, P1)* Row 4: *(K2tog, P1)* Row 5: *(K1, P1)* Row 6: *(SSK)* (SSK = slip two stitches onto left needle, insert right needle and knit together through the back) Row 7: *(K)* Row 8: *(SSK)* Row 9: *(K)* Row 10: *(K2 tog)* end.
