    The association welcomes the UGC's final notification 2010 but has some reservations. Specifically, many of the association's concerns were not addressed in the notification from March 17, 2012.     To The Secretary Education To the Government of Himachal Pradesh Shimla-01 Sub: Adoption of UGC Final Notification 2010, request

    for meeting with association. Sir, Association welcomes the notification of UGC final regulation 2010 but with certain reservations. It is submitted that in the notification of 17/03/12, many concerns of association have not been considered. As a result of this, a large number of teachers would be deprived of their due scales and financial benefits. Association wants to draw your kind attention on the following points. 1. Date of Implementation of the notification. 2. Deviation from the UGC notification. 3. Condition of departmental examination for pay band IV. 4. Promotion of principals. 5. Creation of Post of Professors in the colleges. 6. Pay Fixation as per the recommendation 6th central pay commission. 7. Principals allowance 8. Provision of 14 days special leaves for attending conferences etc. 9. Reduction in Annual Vacations. 10. Issue of NOC from the government. 11. Superannuation 12. API/ PBAS Performa 13. Exclusion of University teachers from the regulations. 14. Implementation of new regulations keeping in view practical difficulties in adoption in API score in the state In view of above stated facts the regulations in the present form is not acceptable to the association and your good self is requested to make necessary amendments / review of certain decisions in the larger interest of teacher community of the state by asserting viewpoint of the association.
