Dear Delegate, Thank you for your interest in the Maine Model United Nations Conference (MeMUNC). We are thrilled to be able to offer scholarships and financial assistance for the first time. Through the generous support of John Wasileski, The Highlands and other MeMUNC Alumni, our goal of providing global exposure to as many students as possible is closer to being realized. We understand that the cost of MeMUNC, while significantly lower than other Model UN conferences, can still be a barrier to participation. Therefore we will be awarding scholarships based on demonstrated need, willingness to work hard and dedication to MeMUNC. Partial and full scholarships will be awarded. Please be realistic and honest in your responses. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and utilized only to make award decisions. Teachers/Advisors will be notified of any award given. Please fill out the application below by typing directly into the form. Email completed applications to memunc@mac.com or print and mail to: Maine Model UN Program University of Southern Maine 126 Bedford Street Portland, ME 04102 If you have any questions please send them to Julia Edwards, Director of the Maine Model UN Program at memunc@mac.com. Applications are due by Wednesday, April 18th, 2012. Thank you, and good luck!
