Utah FFA Association 2011-12 Veterinary Science CDE Outline

The Veterinary Science CDE will be conducted at the Bridgerland Applied Technology College West Campus (1000 W. 1400 N., Logan). The event will follow the format and rules laid out in the National FFA CDE Handbook (available at: https://www.ffa.org/documents/cde_vetscience.pdf) with the following modifications: IV. Event Rules Dress Code: FFA Jackets are NOT required or recommended for this event and should not be worn. Competitors should wear a scrub top and any type of pants. This event works with live animals so getting dirty is a good possibility. All participants must wear closed toe, closed heel and flat shoes (no clogs, sandals or flip-flops). No jewelry may be worn. This includes rings, bracelets, earrings and exposed body piercing. Wrist watches are permitted.

Tools & Equipment: Each contestant is responsible to bring their own: pencils non programable calculator clipboards scratch paper Only a clean clip board and blank paper is allowed. Cell phones or other electronic communication devices or devices capable of being programmed may not be used as calculators and are not allowed in the event.
