Conflict Resolution Lesson Objective: Students will listen to common issues that are occurring among their peers

and offer advice to one another. Lesson Plan: Students will each write about a problem that they are having either in or out of school on a piece of paper. They will not write their name on this paper. They will fold the piece of paper and pass it in. The teacher will take these statements that the class has given her and she will type up the statements and cut them into strips. This will ensure that no one can recognize each others hand writing. Each member of the class will be handed a random problem that was written by one of their peers. The entire class will sit in a circle. One at a time, each student will read the problem that was written on the slip of paper that they received. After reading the problem to the class their classmates will take turns providing advice for that person. Although the problem is most likely not their own the person whose problem it is will have the opportunity to hear advice from their peers about the problem that they are having.
