A young woman is attacked in the dark by Mr., who sexually assaults her. Unable to cry for help due to Mr.'s actions, she is left physically and emotionally damaged by the assault. The poem depicts a dark and confusing world where predators threaten the vulnerable and victims are left without justice.

Day turns to night; there is no one in sight. Predators are roaming in defiance. Walking in darkness can be quite a fright. Confused and lost she asks for Mr.s guidance. Little does she know Mr. is not well? He is ready to strike for a good time. In the dark no one hears her constant yells Mr.s sweat on her face her body in mind, Her eyes swollen, and dry from constant cries Wasted cries go unheard, she feels blinded. Mr. goes quick, leaving her just in time. She walks home, pensive, quiet, lost, befriended. Its a confused and dark world after all. With her dignity in his hand she leaves us all.
