PTK Meeting March 31st, 2012

Call to order at 12:30p Joana confirmed reading of minutes, Gisella seconded it If interested in officer position for next year please let Geoff know Leadership- all mentors met mentees at induction, they e-mailed members to congratulate them on their induction, and set up a meeting with them

C4 we got 850 signatures, last semester we got 263 For Blood drive we got 905, volunteer sign-up sheet went around. Polos will be sold at the blood drive sign-up table, april 3rd and 4th form 11-2pm in Nomahegan building.

Salvation Army- April 10th, 10-4pm Watchung Avenue, schedule needs to be taken care of. We should all wear the same color shirt.

For next year members can use the salvation army project as the college project Garden party will be april 3rd and 4th 11-2pm , volunteer sign-up sheet was passed around

Fellowship- thanks for induction, for the mixer inductees will come at 11:15 am instead of 10:45am. Set up will be at 9am, volunteer sign-up sheet went around. Joana will be in charge of bringing the food.

Joana- Special thanks to Kyle for breakdown of book sale. Will e-mail people who ordered t-shirts. Will e-mail Dr. Schmitt the numbers of shirts that were ordered

Public relations- talked to Nicole Torrela to get induction pictures. Will put newsletter together. We are looking for funding for the party.

Matt- Please print clearly and neatly on volunteer sign-up sheets Conference is June 15th and 16th to train for officer positions. There is 1 opening for regional position, that is the time to apply

May 17th is the annual dinner Sean- party will no longer be a prom but a Hollywood Paparazzi party. Stacys manager from Ralphs Kenilworth will donate Italian ice-cream for the party. The tickets will cost $20 for students and $25 for guests. Dori and Joana developed a budget. Will be giving away disposable cameras to people who come. Dori will do a banner Sarah designing flyers. If fully funded will donate money to orphanage or another organization. Editor and Chief for newspaper will provide advertisement Poster needs to be designed.

Voter registration forms will be on Blood Drive table There will be no meeting next week Beverly will lead meeting on April 12th Last meeting will be May 3rd , 2012 Meeting adjourned at 1:30pm
