INTRODUCTION
A vending machine
is a machine which dispenses items such as snacks, beverages to customers automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine

HISTORY
The first modern coinoperated vending machines were introduced in London, dispensing postcards. The first vending machine in U.S. was built for selling gum on train platforms. The idea of adding games to these machines as a further incentive spawned a whole new type of mechanical device known as the trade stimulators

MECHANISM
After paying ,a

product may become available by: The machine releasing it, so that it falls in an open compartment at the bottom, or into a cup, either released first, or put in by the customer. The unlocking of a door, drawer, or turning of a knob.

Risk of Falling Machines:-A few people are
fatally injured when machine topple on them, either while they are trying to steal from the machine or when they are venting frustration on the machine, when a malfunction causes a failure to dispense the purchased item. Coin Fraud:-Vending machines involves the use of coins of foreign currency, in more extreme cases, worthless tokens or washers which have the same size & shape as the coin accepted by the machine.

INNOVATIONS
Vending has gone
through significant changes. Many machines are still evolving to become able take credit cards & companies are beginning to obtain the capability of monitoring machines state from afar .

NOW INTRODUCING IN INDIA


In India we are introducing
vending machine with a partnership with EASY DAY . We will be placing vending machine in the metro cities of our country. Establishing the vending machine, i.e., 3 machines at airports of Bangalore, Kolkatta & Chennai & 2 at railway stations of Delhi and Mumbai. In order to save the time of people by waiting in the restaurant at railway station & at airport

INVESTMENT & EXPENDITURE


Due to Indias high population
density , it requires high cost of labor, limited space, will provide a fertile environment for vending machines. In order to buy 5 vending machine we will invest Rs450000 each with the partners. We will import vending machine from U.S. at a cost of Rs100000. The labor employed are 8 for each machine for a cost of Rs2500 , the total cost is Rs100000 Electricity charges per machine will cost over Rs10000 each. Therefore, the total cost of expenditure is Rs2500000

CONCLUSION
Introduction of vending machine to
our country proves to very useful. It helps in providing snacks & cold drinks to the people. It reduces time consumption of a customer.
