The Lion and the Mouse
Once upon a time, a lion was sleeping in a forest. Some mice started playing
near him. One little mouse climbed up the lions leg and jumped up and down.
The lion woke up and caught the mouse under his paw. He said, I will kill you.
The mouse said, If you let me go, I will help you when you are in need.
The lion let the mouse go.
Some days later the lion was caught in a net. The mouse saw that the lion needed
his help. He cut the net with his sharp teeth. The lion became free.
The lion and the mouse became good friends.
