Apstract
Bologna process the role of the Students parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy University of Belgrade in decision-making
Author:Vukain Grozdi and Nevena Stoisavljevi
This paper deals with the issue of students participation in decision-making process.
Considers the whole course of decision making and participation of students at all levels of
decision making, from students parliament, through Academic council and Faculty
deparments council, and at all stages, from the initiatives through to implementation. For
writing this work, we used the Higher Education Act, the Statute of the Faculty of Philosophy,
the Bologna Declaration and the personal experiences of student representatives in the
Faculty bodies. Based on these data, the author finds that the role of the Student Parliament
was seen as a partner in decision making, but practice shows that there is still space for
developing this relationship between students and management within higher education
institutions.
