SUBJECT: Properties production MODULE: Spatial TUTOR: Todd Arthur ASSIGNMENT TITLE: Scripted Space DUE DATE: Wednesday 18th July 2012 Assignment Objective:
The student will develop an understanding of the description and setting of props in context. The student will develop skills for the production of scale models for camera. The student will develop a methodology for the formal analysis of the relationships between forms, structures, detail, scale and location. Students will develop skills and knowledge for the selection and utilisation of modelling tools, materials, methods and devices. Students will investigate and utilise basic AV skills and presentation techniques.

Outcomes:
a) Intermediate craft, technical and presentation skills. d) Extended research methodologies related to the creation of properties. e) Ability to identify and solve problems arising from the practice of prop making and the associated collaborative team processes. f) Broadened knowledge of suitable materials, tools and techniques in order to satisfy the aesthetic, structural and mechanical requirements particular to the specifications of the design concept and the demands of performance. g) Understanding and application of the principals of Occupational Health and Safety and other requirements related to project and production work.
