Deeper is Better

by Ejandra Mae T. Dimacali

Beneath the ocean is a view Of the real calmness of the blue. Anemones dancing to the ripples And fishes sway their colorful ruffles. Peace is the sound that dominates, Blood, gore and fury takes no place. Everyones intact and united, They find no time for being divided. A simple life indeed it is, No pain, no hardships, all just bliss. Oh how I wish, oh how I really wish, To have scales, gills and fins just like a fish. Why cant we make the world we abide, A place where we do not divide? Like the ocean where accords only known, And war does not exist and is unknown.
