Creating a Logo Using Fireworks (Software)

Today in Class we learnt how to create Logos for our Production Using FIREWORKS. Fireworks are a software app that provides you the tool to create expressive and highly optimized graphics for the web. Step 1: Opening fireworks to a blank document page. Importing a blank canvas.

Step 2: Learning how to insert images and shapes and learning how to use layers, also learning how to edit using colours and textures to the images and shapes.

Step 3:Learning how to edit images adopting new styles. Exporting images as a .PNG in order to be able to edit it at a later date or as a GIF/JPEG if we're happy with the final product.

Step 4 Adding colours and drawing on images.

Step 5:Adding in TEXT and editing the size ,font and style .

First we were taught how to use the basic techniques for the software, like importing backgrounds, text and pictures. We first input our background onto our blank canvas. Then we learnt how to find shapes and edit there colour size and dimensions. We also learned how to change the colours within an image, modifying the size and scale of an image, or putting one picture "within" another.Expandinding and altering shapes.
