    So heres how the file-aid would processes the selection criteria: 1. The file-aid would pick-up the first occurrence of PQROOT and checks the criteria mentioned for it. If any field criteria from the set for PQROOT is satisfied, it takes that policy number as a key and reads the first segment of PQPOLTRM. 2. If any field criterion of PQPOLTRM is satisfied, it takes that eff-date as key and moves over to next segment. 3. In our case it will go to PQPOLCOM
