    2(a) Do you sympathise with Old Varma? Why? Answer: Yes. I sympathise him because he does not know what is son is doing for him is for his own good. 2(b) Has Rakesh acted appropriately? Why? Answer: Yes. He wanted his father to live longer and not to eat unhealthy food. He also disobeyed his father because he did not give him the unhealthy food when his wanted it but in this case it is right for him to disobey as it is for his fathers own good. 2(c) Is this title A Devoted Son appropriate for this story? Give reasons for your answer. Answer: Yes. The son is devoted to the father even though he may not have listen to his father a few times.
