General remarks
Rope spacer and accessories are delivered separately. They have to be installed in horizontal position between the guide ropes during assembly of the installation parts.

Installation
a.) after assembly of the guide rope 1. 2. 3. Insert spacers 45-4 with equal interspaces (~ 2.5 + 0.4m) between guide rope 59-24.

Align spacer horizontally and fix it with 4 hose clamps 733 each at the guide rope (fig. 1) Press down the out-sticking end of the clamp by means of an appropriate tool.

b.) prior to assembly of the guide rope Only if installation of spacers is impossible after rope assembly for reasons of construction. Attention! Wire rope clips (to DIN 1142) are not part of the KSB scope of supply! 1. 2. Have rope 59-24 run out outside the pump shaft and cut it in two. Put ropes in parallel position and fix the first spacer 45-4 between the rope at a distance of 2.5 to 3m from the end. Instal remaining spacers in parallel with equal interspaces (see a; para 1 -- 3). Insert pre-assembled unit into pump shaft and fit upper rope end by means of stretching device according to operating instructions. Attention! Put spacers in horizontal position. Lead lower rope ends through borehole into duckfoot bend and connect them with 4 wire rope clips 81-51 (to DIN 1142). Stretch the rope according to operating instructions.
