Airtels leadership over the telecom market is maintained even under the changing landscape. Winner under the competition are those with focusing on usability of customers, understanding their needs and giving control back to users. Loser under the competition are those with focused on technical product differentiation that are beyond understanding of consumer and hence not use it. Future strategies for one to be a leader in telecom industry: i. More competitive tariff plans ii. More VAS to be offered to consumers iii. Focusing on the rural market.
