The Free Range Duck Paste up book

Beta 1.0

Wheatpaste (also known as potato paste, our paste, rice paste, Marxist glue, or simply paste) is a liquid adhesive used since ancient times for various arts and crafts such as book binding, decoupage, collage, and papier-mch. It is also made for the purpose of adhering paper posters to walls and other surfaces (often in gra ti). Closely resembling wallpaper paste, it is made by mixing roughly equal portions of our and water (some argue using more water or more our), and heating it until it thickens. A similar our and water formula is taught in elementary school (minus the low heat simmer) as an easy to make substitute for ready made adhesive.

Photocopy or laser print this image of the duck leaving a small white border. Nb - If you try to paste an inkjet printed image the colour will run. From the following pages choose any accessories you wish to give your paste up and prepare in the same way. To put something up, paint the wall with a layer of paste and smooth your poster over it. Make sure you glue the edges down.
