    1. Introduction
    This document accompanies 5355A HID ProxPro Reader Installation Manual published by the HID Corporation and describes how to interface the HID ProxPro Reader to a PAC 2200 Door Controller or Administration PC.

    2. Connecting a Door Controller


    Figure 1 shows the connections required to connect a door controller to the reader. A Wiegand Interface Unit and a PAC PIN Interface Unit are required.

    The HID ProxPro Reader keypad is connected to the PAC PIN Interface Unit by the lead that is provided with the PAC PIN Interface Unit.     Figure 2 shows the connections required to connect an administration PC to the reader. A Wiegand Interface Unit and a PC Interface Unit are required.
