Wire Packaging has been changed with the following features:1. 2. 3. 4. New Contemporary graphics METPET carton to reduce duplicacy Coil made compact for best fitment with the inners. Reduced dimensions of inners to reduce gaps after packing the coils 5. Reduced no of inners / outer carton to facilitate better handling due to lower gross weight 6. Packing mode of inner cartons inside the outer carton changed from vertical to horizontal for better stacking strength 7. Mesh printing on the closing flap of outer carton to indicate pilferages, if any.

Implementation status and further action plan

Commercial production and packing in new inner started on 18th Nov with 1.00 sq.mm size and first dispatch planned for Kolkata branch. Factory to confirm plan for other skus. (Expected 2.50 sqmm end of this month & other variants by 1st week of Dec11) Mktg. has already informed sales / branches / dealers about the new packaging configuration. Packaging department to follow up with branches and dealers and circulate feedback / project closure report.
