SPEAKING TEST THIRD TERM 1 ESO 2011/2012 ORAL PRESENTATION

INSTRUCTIONS This term you have to do an oral presentation for the oral exam in front of the class. It must take about five, ten minutes. Follow these instructions 1. You will be assigned a picture from the List of Works of Art. They have been uploaded on the blog. 2. You must prepare the oral presentation. 3. You will present the picture to the rest of the class following an outline. 4. When you present the picture you will have a short outline. Remember that you cannot read.

This is the outline

1) INTRODUCTION: You introduce yourself. Then you present the picture and give the name of the artist and the date when it was painted 2) BODY: You must give the details of the picture Describe what you can see Describe what is happening (You must use the adjectives of description and the present continuous to describe whats happening) 3) CONCLUSION: Give your opinion . Say if you liked it or not and why and ask your classmates if they have any questions

5. When you finish your presentation. The teacher will ask you several questions on your performance

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA Your presentation will be assessed according to the following criteria 1) Pronunciation: 2 points

2) Grammar and vocabulary: 2 points 3) Discourse Management: 2 points 4) Interactive Communication: 2 points 5) Global achievement: 2 points
