When any undesirable substance mixes with water it become contaminated this results in water pollution
Compounds of calcium and magnesium ,microorganisms, oils heavy metals, detergents, domestic water, pesticides, fertilizers. industrial water and radioactive waters, etc are commonly found in polluted water
Land Pollution
Land pollution is defined as the build-up in soils of persistent toxic compounds, chemicals, salts, radioactive materials, or disease causing agents, which have adverse effects on plant growth and animal health.
Land pollution can affect wildlife, plants, and humans in a number of ways, such as: Cause problems in the respiratory system Cause problems on the skin Lead to birth defects Cause various kinds of cancers
