But you never left my heart.
Its unwilling to let go,
It was unwilling to keep you close.
It allows the pain.
the pain which hurts so much.
I don’t cry at night,
I cry inside of myself, hiding what I truly feel.
But its hard, hard to still love, and not show it.
let only the night know,
let only the night know the pain of inside.
Its sheer emptiness,
a void that only they can fill.
today, tomorrow, forever more.
