MOKSHA formely known as by the band name TAANDAV founded by Abhishek Jaiswal a.k.

a ABU(Drummer/Founder) and Mohit Dasari a.k.a MOHIT BABA (Lead Vocals) along with the youngest 16 year old Abhishek Behere a.k.a GOLU(Lead Guitars) in 2010.The band performs a mix genre from Soft Rock to Alternate to Metal. The band really had a tough time finding a new bassist but still the band continued its jamming, compositions and performances. In 2011 the band really had a hardest time as the members got disbanded in early 2011 due to personal problems. In search of new band and new members Abhishek made a dedicated research of one year and found new band members from various places. The first member after Abhishek was Ajinkya Naidu a.k.a VINNI-Lead Vocals also famous in girls for his Romantic Hindi Rock Vocals. After a month the bands old member Abhishek Behere returned and also a new band member Mayur Dongre-Lead Guitars, a very versatile and dedicated musician who knows how to rock people became a part of band. In 2011 Mayur Invited two very young talented musician namely Nitesh DongreBass Guitar, very famous for his positive vibes along with Sagar MeshramLead/back Vocals, a very versatile singer from Hindi Rock to Metal. Last but not the least one person without whom and his effort to form a band Mohit Dasari came back to the band after 2 years in 2012. MOKSHA is now a well known band in Central India and now composing albums and performing at various places in central India..Its all the dedication and hard work of band members that MOKSHA is very successful band which is rocking the hearts of people with its song and thanks to people who really who made it more successful

In Indian religions "MOKSHA"() means "to let loose, let go" is the final extrication of the soul or consciousness from the material world and the bringing to an end of all the suffering involved in being subject to the cycle of repeated death and rebirth (reincarnation).The Band got its name as every members got so dedicated involved in music that they really got "MOKSHA" and brought peace to them.
