I am a graduate of the (school). I acquired my professional certificate in the year 20.. which has made me a qualified legal practitioner. I would love to be a part of your university in order to attain a Master of Laws degree in MARITIME LAW My motivation for wanting to acquire skills in the area of MARITIME LAW in your university is that it is very challenging and interesting, it is an area of law that is lucrative as it involves a lot of commerce and commercial expertise, it is an aspect of law that has organization in the sense that there is a particular custom of practice although it also encourages new grounds to be broken everyday, it encourages nations and persons from different works of life to interact with one another and many more. Therefore to obtain a Master of Laws degree in this aspect of law would be a rare privilege. I am more fascinated with the components of this course. Which include admiralty law, marine insurance, carriage of goods by sea, law of the sea, shipping regulation, in some cases ship-building, salvage, towage, international litigation and arbitration, collision and liability. Lately the trend of going further to include environmental law has made it a more fantastic course to do. As an LL.M student, my skill in research would contribute to my academic progress and also it would aid my being a major contributory to group studies. I also have the ability to adapt expeditiously to any environment, to carry out given tasks timeously and I have good interpersonal relationship skills. Having stated all these, I would be very grateful if I am granted my request for admission to study in your university.
