Directions: For this final exam, you will choose one of the following assignments to complete. All preparation for the exam must be done out of class. You must bring your completed assignment and the rubric with you on testing day. No projects will be accepted after your class period. The choices are leveled by amount of effort required, and thus the grade corresponds with the requirements. As a result, for this final exam, in essence, you will be choosing your grade. Disclaimer - in order to receive all the points for the assignment you choose, you must complete all that the assignment requires. Task: Choose one of the following reading selections from our studies this year on which to base your focus. To Kill a Mockingbird, The Odyssey, or Romeo & Juliet . Your product will earn you the following points.

Create a short video reenacting of one or two scenes from the text. Or design and produce a commercial selling the book. Must include relevant and specific details from the story. Video must be loaded onto Youtube.com approx 1-2 mins. A typed and detailed script is required. A short paragraph as to why you chose this scene is also required. Make a CD of at least 5 songs that represent the themes/characters/events in the story. The music can be present day or of the period. Make a cover for the CD that reflects a theme of the text and includes the songs/authors. Write a brief explanation for each song included.

Make a PowerPoint presentation that summarizes the main point of the text. Must include pictures and animations. At least 10 slides

The poem must have a title and at least one use of figurative language. *For 5 extra points on this assignment, include an illustration.
