    There are three types of cyphers: symmetrical, asymmetrical key, and hybrid. Symmetrical key cypher is divided into mono alphabetical and poly alphabetical ciphers. Mono alphabetical ciphers change one letter for another, like a Caesar cipher. Poly alphabetical ciphers change one letter for multiple letters, like Vigenère and Hill's ciphers.

    ABSTRACT

    There are three types of cyphers : symmetrical, asymmetrical key cypher and hybrid cypher. Symmetrical key cypher is divided into two types: the mono alphabetical cipher that is-to-say only one letter must be changed into another one and the poly alphabetical cipher namely, only one letter can be changed into several letters. One example of mono alphabetical key cypher is the cypher throught unkeying. One example of poly alphabetical key cypher is Vigenre and Hills cypher.
