What is Conflict?
Conflict is a process in which an afford is
been made purposefully by one person or unit to block another that results in frustrating the attainment of the other goal or the furthering of his or her interest.

Nature of conflict
Conflict may be cognitive or affective
Cognitive conflict

Cognitive conflict refers to

differences in prospective judgment about issues. Cognitive conflict can air legitimate differences of opinion and developed better ideas and solutions to problems.

Affective conflict Affective conflict is emotional directed at other people. Affective conflict is likely to be destructive because it can lead to anger, bitterness goal displacement and co-decision.

Conflict need to be cognitive not affective.
