BARE LOVE?

Some say "bare love" disappeared

and man is now ruled by selfishness;
but I still see people in the streets
caring for the week and helpless
I saw a boy,
jumping in the dangerous sea,
in an attempt to help a stranger,
denied access to stay as a refugee,
after the boy managed to save him
I saw parents,
loving a child, of which they know
he'll never meet the expectations,
they had of him before he was born
because of his mental limitations
I saw a man,
with tears in his eyes, trying to help
a bleeding kitten, hit by a vehicle,
yelling to get expert attention,
being almost killed, by a car himself
But I also know,
many are trading their affection;
loving for property, lust or pride;
love, being dressed with advantage;
normal, when struggling to survive
But even they could change,
in the course of time
